The Bachata

The Bachata
The bachata is a rhythm of strings and percussion that originated in the Dominican Republic in the 60’s is considered a hybrid of the bolero, with influences from other African and other styles such as son, merengue, cha-cha and tango. The Bachata has always been regarded as music of the neighborhood, and indeed, still face discrimination in their own land even though it has crossed international borders
The musicians that inspired the rise of bachata are:
Trio Los Panchos, Olimpo Cárdenas, Julio Jaramillo, Jibarito de Lares, the Trió Matamoros, Los Compadres


Olimpo cárdenas Moreira
Ecuadorian singer, born in Vinces, Los Rios province, on 12 July 1919. Lost his father and mother. They started singing at age eight; hiss paused and continued to sing at twenty. As a boy, living in Guayaquil, admiring the Mexican film artists, singing their songs all the time and like many other young men of his time dreaming of someday being like them. His friends supported him to appear in the space of Uncle Pepe de la Voz Del Litoral, in 1947, at age 28, when he had accumulated enough applause, joined with composer Carlos Rubira Infante and formed the duo Cárdenas-Rubira, recording the album "In the far", the first of their greatest hits and debut album, the short-lived union with Rubira. In 1954 it merged with Pepe Jaramillo and Plutarch Keels to form the Emperor Trio, the same year he became a soloist, with Victory Records recorded "Your question and mine."
On Sunday July 28, l.971, in the cattle market in Tulua, Valle del Cauca, in the afternoon, came out to sing on stage Dressed in white and waving to the crowd. Smoked a lot but his voice was unchanged. The guitars sang "Your question and mine" and just sang the first notes of a heart attack when he fell to the ground. He died in cash. He had just turned 51 years. Curiously, in his own country his name was overshadowed by the Julio Jaramillo, who took advantage of the Olympus exile in Mexico to record his songs and become known, and since then his own career

Trió matamoros
In 1925, Miguel Matamoros founded in Santiago de Cuba, with Siro Rodríguez and Rafael Cueto, the popular Trió Matamoros  made its first recording on disc in 1928.  The trio combined the genres of bolero and son with this form of music interpretation achieved great popularity, both inside and outside the island of Cuba.
The trio created a whole list of popular hits we could mention, the Promise, sweet rapture, Elixir of Life, The trio and the cyclone, Antonio's wife and mom are on the hill. The last show of the trio Matamoros was for the people of Cuba in March 1960, shortly after retired.

El trio los panchos
Trio Los Panchos was formed in New York City in 1944, Mexican Alfredo Gil Bojalil better known as "El Guero" and Jose de Jesus Navarro Moreno, better known as "Chucho Navarro, and Puerto Rican Aviles Herminio Negron stage name "Hernando Aviles", decided to pool their talents and innovate in the genre. Some time later, Aviles and Navarro Gil played the guitar and the fife of his own creation. They began in the artistic environment, were presented on May 14, 1994 in Hispanic Theatre in New York,  singing Mexican ranchera music with great success, Los Panchos won international fame with his romantic boleros, especially in Latin America, where they are still honored as one of the most famous trios of all time. Sold millions of copies of their álbum.
After 49-year career, the Trio Los Panchos leaves a legacy of about 1122 songs without recordings or radio broadcasts, TV appearances, as well as having recorded in different languages other than Spanish, like English, Japanese, Arabic, Tagalong, Greek and Italian and have dabbled in various genres such as tango, country, Peruvian waltz, corridor, are, rumba, mambo, guaracha, chachacha, joropo, merengue, key, Guarani, gallops, blues, and passage cueca Venezuela.
